Don't Hog - The new event bought to you by rap battle dons Don't Flop Entertainment is London's newest monthly open-mic hip hop night. Held down at Catch, Shoreditch on wednesday, the launch went off with a BOOM.

Open mic mc's / rappers's were certainly on point and witnessed some fucking lyrical wizardry. It was great to hear some of the battler's from Don't Flop on some hip-hop.

One that stood out for me was female lyricist Dekay.. Pure fire. She's got talent coming outta her ears. Defiantly one to watch out for.

Finishing off with a live performance was Rum Committee. A 10-strong super team hailing from the big bad Brighton Town, consisting of 4 emcee's and a blues-inspired singer (the man absolutely tore the place apart) , along with 5 Dj's/ Producers. Every aspect of the group, from the tunes to the artwork is done in-house, just the way it should be!

First time and surely not the last!

Set in a lovely ol' country estate complete with stunning lakes and woodlands..

bloody marvellous!

The art and decor around the site was spot on.

The enchanted woods was wonderfully.. errr, woody? Nice vibes.

Security was sound. Generally a very laid-back weekend with not a lot of lying down involved.

Wicked atmosphere. Foffing good music. And Everyone's up for it!

Tottenham riots ablaze

Riots kicking off after a 29year old man who was stopped by police officers during a planned operation, was armed and 'reportedly' exchanged fire with the officers. He was shot dead by a single bullet to the chest. Duggan's friends and relatives marched down to the police station come saturday evening demanding information about his death. After no response from a high-rankin officer, 2 police cars were attacked and set on fire subsequently sparking rioting, arson and looting over tottenham.

Men were seen looting from various electrical stores, iceland's, JD sports along with many other shops along with a break-in of a local maccyD's where people even started cooking their own food. Fucking nuttas!

News just in! Sudan is now the world's newest nation - South Sudan.

After decades of civil war, the south have finally got what they wanted.

Yeah, only 1.5 million died so its not that bad really is it.

Whats 1,500,000 family members, mothers, brothers, sisters and friends anyway?

Oh and to add to the pain, 1 in 7 children die before the age of 5.
